Born in Accra, Ghana, I grew up bilingual in Ga and English and pursued my lifelong passion for science and medicine. After excelling in my studies, I completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of London/Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1987 and earned my MD from the University of Ghana Medical School in 1991. My training included rotations in Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Urology at Korlebu Teaching Hospital. In 1994, I entered the combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency at Beth Israel/Mount Sinai Hospital in Newark, NJ, where I served as Chief Resident in my final year. Since relocating to Las Vegas in 1998, I have worked across clinics, urgent care, hospitals, and mental health centers before establishing Ascension Medical Center. My greatest passion is advancing wellness and preventive healthcare, guided by my belief that “The Best Wealth is Health.”
